Cancellation Policy & Refund Policy
PCM believes in helping its customers as far as possible, and has therefore a liberal cancellation policy. Under this policy:
Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made within 72 hours of placing an order. However, the cancellation request will not be entertained if the orders have been communicated to the vendors/merchants and they have initiated the process of shipping them. There is no cancellation of orders placed under the Same Day Delivery category. No cancellations are entertained for those products that the PCM marketing team has obtained on special occasions like Pongal, Diwali, Valentine’s Day etc. These are limited occasion offers and therefore cancellations are not possible. In case of receipt of damaged or defective items, please report the same to our Customer Service team. The request will, however, be entertained once the merchant has checked and determined the same at his own end. This should be reported within 5 days of receipt of the products. In case you feel that the product received is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within 24 hours of receiving the product. The Customer Service Team after looking into your complaint will take an appropriate decision. In case of complaints regarding products that come with a warranty from manufacturers, please refer the issue to them.
REFUND POLICY30 Day Replacement Guarantee
All physical products sold on PCM are covered under our 30 Day Replacement Policy. Notify us of any manufacturing defects or product damages at the time of delivery or within 30 days from the date of delivery, and we will issue a brand new replacement to you at no extra cost.
In order to get a defective item replaced
Contact Customer Care, within 30 days from the date of delivery. The defective product or part will be recalled and a replacement will be shipped immediately. Please note -
Replacement can be for the entire product or part(s) of the product subject to availability of the same with PCM. Replacement is offered for the products sold by PCM only.
How do I cancel an order on PCM Alternatively, how do I return a product ordered on PCM Online Store?
For outright cancellations by you:
If you cancel your order before your product has shipped, we will refund the entire amount.
If the cancellation is after your product has shipped, you can do one of the following:
1. If your product has shipped but has not yet been delivered, contact Customer Support and inform them of the same.
2. If you received the product, it will be eligible for replacement, only in cases where there are defects found with the product. Please refer to the 30 Day Replacement Guarantee above.
Following shall not be eligible for return or replacement -
Damages due to misuse of product;
Incidental damage due to malfunctioning of product;
How long will it take to process my cancellation request?
Once you request the cancellation of item(s) in your order, it will take PCM a maximum of 1-2 business days to cancel the order and initiate refund. You will be notified of the same.
However, if you opt for having the money transferred back to the source of transaction, it may take upto 7-10 business days for the respective banks to process the refund. Please get in touch with the banks directly in case of any delays post confirmation of cancellation/refund by PCM.
How will I get my money back after cancellation? What are the modes of refund available?
In order to confirm cancellation of item(s) in your order, you need to indicate your refund preference. There is one mode of refund available -
1. Back to Source - In this case, the money will be refunded back to the payment mode/account that was originally used to make the transaction
Once you have requested the cancellation of item(s) in your order, PCM will complete the cancellation and initiate the refund, depending on your refund preference.
